FF/EMT Ophelia Ashford passed away during the Humane Labs Fire of '95. Ophelia was injured during the rescue of another firefighter. Unfortunately during her rescue she was injured and later succumbed to her injuries at the hospital.

Firefighter Ophelia Ashford served the Los Santos Fire Department with unwavering dedication for six years. Throughout her career, she responded to countless emergencies, fires, rescues, medical calls, hazardous incidents. She was known for her courage, her sharp humor, her loyalty, and her refusal to ever back down. Ophelia was a spitting image of what a firefighter should be and will stay that way till the end of time.
